Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) integrates the benefits of both psychotherapy and ketamine. Ketamine has the potential to create an accelerative healing process for those suffering from a variety of different mental health symptoms and diagnoses. Insights are often gained while forming new perceptions and allowing space for an individual to gain a better understanding of symptoms and sense of self. Including psychotherapy during ketamine treatments can help you reach your goals in therapy.

How Does KAP Work?

Each patient will have an integrative package that includes an intake with a medical provider as well as an intake with a psychotherapist. During sessions, your medical team will provide ketamine and monitor your vitals. Your therapist will be with you throughout your KAP treatment to support, guide and integrate your healing process. Your process is tailored to your needs and can include traditional ketamine treatments, KAP, integration therapy (therapy sessions between KAP sessions).

Intake sessions with a therapist take between 45 – 60 min.  KAP sessions take approximately 60-90 min. Integration therapy sessions take approximately 60 min.   Group Integration Workshops are 2 hr.
